We’re Lyss and Charlie Tetlow, the husband-and-wife team behind Soléa Travels Co.
For us, travel has never been about simply collecting destinations. It’s about the feeling of discovering somewhere new, lingering a little longer, sharing an unforgettable meal, finding a place you never expected to love, and coming home with stories you’ll tell for years.
That belief is at the heart of Soléa.
We create personalised, thoughtfully curated journeys designed around the people travelling them—not simply the destination itself. From the first idea to the finer details, we take the time to understand what matters to you and create a journey that feels distinctly your own.
A Shared Love of Travel
Our journey began with a shared curiosity for the world and a belief that the best trips are the ones that leave you with something more than photographs.
Together, we’ve travelled across Europe, Asia and beyond, experiencing everything from vibrant cities and coastal escapes to family adventures, remarkable hotels and championship golf courses.
Those experiences have shaped the way we approach travel today.

Meet Lyss
Founder & Travel Curator
Lyss leads the bespoke travel planning at Soléa, bringing together her background in law, business and hospitality with a genuine passion for discovering and thoughtfully planning travel experiences.
Her approach begins with listening.
Before recommending a destination, hotel or experience, she takes the time to understand each client—their travel style, interests, pace, preferences and what they hope to take away from their journey.
From there, she transforms ideas into carefully considered itineraries, thoughtfully connecting accommodation, dining, experiences, transportation and the finer details that help a trip flow effortlessly.
Through our trusted network of global travel and hospitality partners, Lyss is able to curate journeys that go beyond simply finding somewhere beautiful to stay. The aim is to create an experience that feels personal from beginning to end.
Meet Charlie
Co-Founder | PGA Professional
Charlie brings a different perspective to Soléa through his career as a PGA Professional and his deep connection to the world of golf.
His expertise allows us to create considered golf experiences for players of all abilities—from championship courses and renowned golf resorts to coaching experiences, golf breaks and tournament travel.
For clients who want golf to be the centrepiece of their journey, Charlie can help shape a trip around the courses, locations and experiences that matter most.
And for those who simply want to incorporate a round or two into a wider holiday, he can help ensure the golf complements the journey rather than taking it over.
Because sometimes the perfect holiday includes a great golf course along the way.
